Mulateiro "Tree of Youth"
Mulateiro (Calycophyllum spruceanum) is a large tree with a height of 20 to 35 meters. It is a native plant of the tropical regions of the Amazon, including Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil, but is widespread throughout the Amazon region. In the summer, it grows many white aromatic flowers.
It is said that Amazonian warrior women bathed in a preparation made from the bark of the tree on the night of the full moon to stay always young and beautiful, which is why the Mulateiro was known among the tribes as the "tree of youth". Men also drink tea from this tree for virility, strength, endurance and stamina.
The bark of a tree has a fascinating annual cycle in which it separates, falls off completely, and regenerates again. This suggests incredible energetic properties associated with this phenomenon, including anti-aging and psychic renewal. Mulateiro Rapé is extracted from the bark and therefore also contains rejuvenating and restorative properties along with other beneficial healing powers.
Ash has regenerative, antifungal, antibacterial, antiparasitic and anti-shock properties. In addition to its revitalizing properties, for example for the skin, Mulateiro is also used for many therapeutic purposes.
