Apurinã Awiry — the green Rapé

Rapé Apurinã Awiry, also known as “Rapé verdinho” – the little green Rapé – is a rare blend from the Apurinã people of the Brazilian Amazon. It is made from sacred Awiry leaves, dried in the sun to keep their freshness.

It contains no Mapacho, which gives it a light, fresh character. Rather than intense cleansing, it is traditionally associated with gentle attunement – a warm calm, open senses and connection with nature and Pachamama.

The blend is made of Awiry leaves, dried in the sun and finely ground. Its green colour comes straight from the leaves – hence the name “Rapé verdinho”.

Hand-prepared by the Apurinã people, it is one of the few blends in our collection made entirely without Mapacho.
