Tsunu — the clear centre
Tsunu is the most respected ash base in the Amazon – the gold standard from which dozens of other blends are built. This is the preparation of the Huni Kuin, a lineage of healers and singers known for their gentle hand with the medicine: sacred ash of the Tsunu tree (Platycyamus regnellii) combined with fine forest Mapacho.

Platycyamus regnellii
Tsunu (Platycyamus regnellii), known in Brazil also as Pau Pereira, is a tall native tree of the legume family. Its bark is burned into the fine, pale ash that forms the backbone of countless traditional Rapé recipes across Acre.
