Katsarau — ash of the white tree
Rapé Katsarau comes from the Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) people of Acre, Brazil. It unites wild Mapacho with sacred ash of the rare Katsarau tree – the “white ash tree” of the Amazon rainforest.
It carries a deep, earthy and ancestral forest character. In tradition it is associated above all with deep energetic cleansing – purifying the auric field and releasing stagnant energy – followed by ceremony, mental clarity and grounding. It is regarded as a gateway to expanding consciousness and a deeper connection with oneself and Pachamama.

The botanical story
The white ash tree
Katsarau (also called Katsaral) is a majestic tree of the Amazon rainforest with a distinctly pale bark, which gives it the name “white ash tree”. It grows only in the rainforest and is considered rare.
For this blend, Mapacho leaves are dried, ground and combined with Katsarau ash in a ceremonial way, according to Huni Kuin ancestral knowledge.
